My audiogram from September 2008.

The above audiogram got cut off, view it in full here

I probably have no hearing above 2000Hz. The false positives are probably just the low frequency distortion from the audiometer.

  1. Hey there Deafdude. I am a hearing instrument dispenser and I love the Naida V UP's. I have a couple of clients that are wearingthem with great success. Those instruments also use frequency compression to take the higher frequencies sounds and move them to an area of audibility. The initial findings with this feature showed great improvements to ones speech discrimination over time with proper rehabilitation. Enjoy them and remember it will never be like someone with normal hearing. Mike Passineau MTPASS624@aol.com

  2. Hello there Deafdude.
My Name is Christa Meneley and I stumbled across your page while browsing through alldeaf.com. I am an ASL Student and I was wondering if you would be ok with me interviewing you through email. The point of the interview is for me to gain a better perspective on Deaf culture. If it is ok for me to email you, you can write me at krysta707@msn.com Thank you for your time, and I hope that I can have a chance to get to know you real soon.
